Traning Camp Sendoff Event Tonight

The Kansas City Chiefs will wrap up their time in St. Joseph this week, but not before holding a training camp sendoff event tonight at Spratt Stadium.

The Chiefs will conduct an autograph session before the team takes the field for practice from approximately 7:15-9:15 PM.  An exciting selection of prizes will be given away to fans throughout the evening, including tickets to every 2010 Chiefs home game, as well as footballs, mini-helmets and other items autographed by Chiefs players and Coach Haley.

Gates for the event will open at 4:30 PM. Missouri Western State University will charge a $10 admission with free admission for children three and under.  Fans can also enjoy performances by the Chiefs Cheerleaders and hear comments from Chiefs Chairman Clark Hunt, Missouri Western State University President Dr. Bob Vartabedian and “Voice of the Chiefs” Mitch Holthus.

The final training camp practice at Missouri Western State University is scheduled for 1:50 PM on Thursday.

Other than Family Fun Night, I don’t know that there will end up having been a better day at training camp for the Chiefs.  The turnout by the fans has been better than even the most optimistic predictions and tonight shouldn’t be any different.
