Chiefs Release Turk McBride
The Kansas City Chiefs have released LB Turk McBride to make room for new wide receiver Bobby Wade.
McBride was a second round selection of the Chiefs in the 2007 NFL Draft. He played in 25 games (10 starts) for Kansas City from 2007-08.
Not much of a surprise here. During training camp I wondered if McBride could make the roster. He did… but as it turns out not for long. McBride clearly did not fit with Clancy Pendergast’s 3-4 system and will no doubt land with another team as a defensive end in a 4-3.
