Tyson Jackson Back, Chris Chambers Still Inactive

The Kansas City Chiefs have released their list of 8 inactive player for today’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars at Arrowhead Stadium.

WR Chris Chambers, CB Jackie Bates, S Reshard Langford, FB Tim Castille, LB Charlie Anderson, LB Justin Cole, C Rudy Niswanger and DE Atiyyah Ellison.

Good to see Tyson Jackson and Ryan O’Callaghan back in the game, but disappointed in Chambers.  You shouldn’t have starters that end up as healthy scratches and that’s what Chambers has managed to do over the last couple of weeks.  It’s puzzling if only because he has done a solid job blocking, something that no doubt would have Haley excited about what Chambers has been doing.

Important to note that WR Verran Tucker is on the 45-man roster less than 24 hours after being added to the active roster.

The other surprise name is Niswanger.  With O’Callaghan back, Haley didn’t want to lose a body at another position and you can’t sit Barry Richardson down in case O’Callaghan has a setback.  If something were to happen to Casey Wiegmann, look for Brian Waters to move over from guard and Jon Asamoah fill it at guard, similar to what happened when Branden Albert went down.
