Yesterday, the Chiefs had three players listed as “questionable” on their injury report. Tonight that number has gone down to just one, though the change wasn’t good for Kansas City’s chances on Sunday, according to Josh Looney.
Chiefs move both Tyson Jackson and Ryan O’Callaghan to “out” on official injury report.
Jackson had been hopeful as the week went on that he could play, but he needs to get to a point where he is confident on his legs. Send him out there on one good leg and see how long he lasts. Setback for the team, but good decision in the long run.
O’Callaghan’s absence continues to be discouraging. Barry Richardson has done a respectable job, but he’s much better suited as a do-it-all backup. It is promising that the Chiefs were able to run the ball decently and protect Matt Cassel the few times he dropped back in less than stellar conditions without their starting right tackle.
