In what many people around Yale football wouldn’t have expected to see just a week ago, former Bulldog fullback Shane Bannon was a guest on ESPN’s First Take Wednesday.
Bannon talked about his expectations leading up to the draft, including how he had no doubt about landing with a team even though he didn’t carry the ball in 2010.
The Chiefs new fullback also said he will first make his mark on special teams but feels he can run the ball if that’s what is needed.
As for after football? Law school has been on his radar, but Bannon said he’d love to stay involved in football as a graduate assistant for a college team.
